Holistic Treatment Aftercare


Holistic treatments are a powerful way of detoxifying and rebalancing the body, boosting the immune system and stimulating circulation and releaseing blocks so that energy flows more freely. It is therefore, beneficial and important for you to continue the care following your treatment to maximise the healing benefits.

To get the most benefit from your treatment, implement the following guidelines for at least 12hrs:

  • Drink plenty of water
  • Relax! Allow adequate time to rest and allow the body to settle during the healing process. 
  • You may not realise how relaxed you are feeling .. take care if driving or having to return to work. 
  • Avoid eating heavy meals and enjoy light, healthy foods such as fruit and vegetables
  • Avoid stimulants such as alcohol, recreational drugs, caffeine and nicotine .. allow your body to cleanse, heal and rehydrate. Try to stick with water and/or herbal teas.
  • If you have had a treatment with aromatherapy oils: To gain maximum benefit from the healing oils, try to avoid washing/showering the oils off for a few hours as they will continue to be absorbed by the skin after your treatment has ended.


It's not uncommon for the body to go through a phase of "cleansing and re-balancing" following holistic treatments. 

This is a positive sign your body is responding to the treatment but may occasionally cause concern. 

Normal reactions some (not all) people  may experience include heightened emotions, fatigue, cold like symptoms, aching muscles, light headaches and frequent toilet visits should clear within in 24/48 hours.
